You may register at the gym between
Monday and Thursday from 5:30pm - 8pm
All 2012 sessions run on an 8 week schedule, and there is a non-refundable annual registration fee of $30. Classes are limited and an early registration ensures that your child has a spot. Registration (for classes with openings) is accepted any time during any session. Sibling discounts apply.
We hope you will find the class that's just right for you! Included with all descriptions are age distinctions, tuition fees, and a session calendar. Toddler Class Descriptions
Kids & Company
Ages 18 Months-3/45 Min
Introduces children to pre-school gymnastics equipment and body movements. Class begins with aerobic and stretching activities, involves a period of supervised free play, and ends with a group game or play activity. A parent or other adult role model must accompany the child for the entire class period. This program is designed to allow your toddler to participate in an activity that promotes fun and physical fitness through the sport of gymnastics. It also introduces important socialization skills such as listening, following directions, waiting for turns, and interacting with peers.
Mini Olympians
Ages 3-5/45 Min
For pre-school children who are beginning to be independent. Class begins with stretching and utilizes fun gymnastics activities to introduce elementary gymnastic skills on varying pieces of equipment.
Tumble Weeds
Ages 3-5/45 Min
Simple instructional tumbling for ages 3-5 years. Includes a fun warm-up period, and ends with a group activity/game. This class is great for siblings close in age.
Hot Shots
Age 5/45 Min
Class begins with stretching and incorporates fun, slightly more difficult elementary gymnastic skills on all age-appropriate apparatus.
Hot Shots Advanced
Age 5 (Invitation Only)
This intermediate program teaches skills on all apparatus with added focus on strength, flexibility, and proper technique. This class requires more discipline and body control, and focuses on preparing for the more advanced levels to come. Class begins with stretchi ng and incorporates fun, slightly more difficult elementary gymnastic skills on all age-appropriate apparatus.
Open Play Groups
Open/55 Min
Is a open gym opportunity for daycare centers or play groups that want to play with their kids on our tumbling equipment in a supervisory fashion.
Gymnastics Classes
Beginning through Advanced Level Classes (below) are instructed utilizing the USAG training guidelines which emphasize progressive skill achievement through use of proper technique and physical conditioning.
Homeschool
Ages 6 & Up/55 Min
This co-ed morning class is for Homeschoolers. Enjoy fulfilling your Physical Education requirement in a FUN, learning environment. All apparatus is utilized, and coordination and physical fitness is our fun focus!
Gymsters 'A' & 'B'
Ages 6-7/55 Min
Promotion only by ability evaluation
This level of gymnastic instruction is equivalent to USAG Level 1 and Level 2 and is an introduction/beginning level. This program introduces simple gymnastic skills (rolls, cartwheels, round offs, backbends) and body conditioning on all apparatus, creating a foundation of good technique that will prepare them for progression to a more difficult and challenging skill level. Level B must be able to perform a strong cartwheel.
Bounders 'A' & 'B'
8 & Up/55 Min
Promotion only by ability evaluation
This level of gymnastic instruction is equivalent to USAG Level 1 and Level 2, and is an introduction/beginning level. This program introduces simple gym nastic skills (rolls, cartwheels, round offs, backbends) and body conditioning on all apparatus, creating a foundation of good technique that will prepare them for progression to a more difficult and challenging skill level. Level B must be able to perform a strong cartwheel.
Twisters
6 & Up/2 Hrs (Invitation Only)
This level of gymnastic instruction is equivalent to USAG Level 3, and is open to ages 6 and older. This intermediate program teaches skills on all apparatus with added focus on strength, flexibility, and proper technique. This class requires more discipline and body control, and focuses on preparing for the more advanced levels to come. To be accepted into this class students should already be able to perform a strong handstand, backbend kickover, strong round off, and a moderately spotted back handspring.
Tumbling Classes
Open Tumbling
6 & Up/55 Min
Is a supervised, non-instructional tumbling opportunity to utilize our spring floor, tumbltrak and trampoline. pre registration is required.
Junior Tumbling
Ages 6-9/55 Min
This class is designed for younger kids with little to no tumbling experience. The class will focus on the very basics of rolls, cartwheels, and round offs. Advancement to next class based on perfection of skill not time in class. Some students may be in the same level class for more than one session.
Teen Tumbling
Ages 10 & Up/55 Min
This class is designed for older students with little to no tumbling experience. The class will focus on the very basics of rolls, cartwheels, and roun d offs. Advancement to next class based on perfection of skill not time in class. Some students may be in the same level class for more than one session.
Focus Tumbling
Ages 6 & Up/55 Min
This class is specifically designed for the tumblers who can easily manage the beginner tumbling skills, but who need to acquire the back bend kickover and strong round-off with a powerful rebound required for acceptance into our intermediate level tumbling class. This class focuses more on body control in all phases of tumbling, and will introduce back handsprings.
Flip-Flops Tumbling
Ages 6 & Up/90 Min
This class is designed for intermediate to advanced students with tumbling experience. Students must be able to perform a strong handstand, backbend kickover, strong round off and a spotted back hand spring to be in this class. The class will focus on forward and backward power tumbling, including handsprings, saltos and twisting.
Group Tumbling Clinics
Annual registration is required! Hourly rates are as follows:
4-8 students $15 per student; 9-13 students $12 per; 14-20 students $10 per.
Private Lessons
Annual registration required. By appointment only. One-on-one private instruction to achieve a specific skill. Any age.
$25 per 1/2 Hour; $5 0 per Hour
